Based on Church Street in Old Wethersfield, Marcus Touponse of Old Wethersfield Music offers a variety of classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on Drums, Guitar and Bass.
Marcus teaches with patience and provides clarity to folks of all ages, abilities and musical interests.
His love of music began as a child on the piano and quickly transitioned to drums where he performed in clubs such as CBGB in New York City in the late 90s.
The blues genre called to him not long after high school and he has been playing guitar ever since. In 2016 Marcus attended a Tommy Emmanuel guitar training seminar in Saratoga and currently plays lead guitar in the local band- The Rescue Dogs.
He is grateful for the opportunity to show others the beauty and peace that comes with playing and mastering a musical instrument.
